Conab cuts Brazilian sugar production estimate to 37.9 mln t

The government's Commodity Supply Corporation (Conab) cut its estimate for the country's total sugar production in its fourth estimate for the 2017/18 crop to 37.87 mln tonnes, tel quel, from 39.46 mln in the previous forecast just before Christmas, which would be down 2.1% from 38.69 mln a year ago.
