European fresh apple inventory still extremely high

The main apple growing countries in Europe still held more than 3.8 mln tonnes of fresh fruit in store, as at February 1. Poland, unsurprisingly, had the largest inventory of 1.215 mln tonnes, closely followed by Italy with 1.133 mln tonnes.

57,000 hectares of Spanish almonds, fruits and oranges affected by frosts and winds
