Higher potato harvest expected in Europe

This season, the continent may harvest 27.9 million tonnes of potatoes for consumption, about 11.5% higher than the five-year average but still below the 2014’s record-high of 28.5 mln tonnes, according to North-Western European Potato Growers’ early estimates.
