The wheat complex weakened on Friday with Chicago May wheat slipping 3¢ at USD4.67 3/4 and Kansas City falling 8 1/4¢ at USD4.31 1/4. Minneapolis closed 4 3/4¢ lower at USD5.22 1/2, marking the seventh consecutive day of losses.
The soy complex closed lower overall on Friday with May soybeans falling 7 1/2¢ at USD8.99. Moy soymeal and soy oil contracts fell lower.
Corn closed lower along with other key commodities on Friday as traders took profits following three days of strength this week.
Wheat futures closed lower overall Thursday with Chicago May wheat down 1/4¢ at USD4.70 3/4 and Kansas City up 2 3/4¢ at USD4.39 1/2. Minneapolis closed 7 1/2¢ lower at USD5.27 1/4.
Corn futures closed higher again on Thursday with May corn up 2 1/2¢ at USD3.65 1/4.
Wheat futures closed higher overall on Wednesday with Chicago May wheat firming 7¢ at USD4.71 and Kansas City gaining 3 1/2¢ at USD4.36 6/4. Minneapolis closed 7¢ lower at USD5.34 3/4.
