Bulgarian rose oil processor reports growing sales

Bulgaria-based essential oil house Lavena, listed on the Sofia Stock Exchange, reported that its revenue increased by 19.7% year-on-year to BGN17.9 million (USD10 mln) in 2019.

Its net profit rose by one third to BGN1.0 mln. 

Lavena explained that it has controlled costs, acquiring all its raw material in the domestic market. Its main 2020 goals are: 

  • To strengthen its Bochko brand of personal care products for children and infants.  

  • To develop the Working hands brand, in the international beauty market. 

  • To increase international sales of the Footness brand, focused on foot care.
