Strong rise in imported value of China’s garlic in Brazil

Brazilian garlic imports fell by 1.9% year-on-year to 146,300 tonnes but increased by 21.8% in value to USD192.3 million from January-November 2019, according to Brazil’s National Supply Company (CONAB). The average fob price of the imported commodity amounted to USD1,314.5 per tonne.
