Brazilian orange juice earnings fell last month

According to Brazil’s trade ministry (Secex), value exports of orange juice from Brazil fell 31.4% in May compared with the same month of 2018 to USD143.9 million. However, this was an increase of 11.5% from April.

The total volume of orange juice exports last month was 177,600 tonnes, down by 16.5% from May 2018 and an increase of 22.3% compared with April 2019. The data covers 22 working days in May 2019.
