The 2019/20 Spanish almond crop is expected to reach 62,468 shelled tonnes, 0.71% more than in the previous season, despite heavy losses in large origins such as Aragon, Murcia and Castile-La Mancha (eastern Spain) due to previous frosts, according to the Spanish Nut Association, integrated with the main farmer associations (Asaja, Coag, UPA, Aeofruse and the Agricultural Cooperative Federation).
