Trade deals: US agrees to postpone 25% tariff on Chinese goods
The US will delay a March 2 tariff hike on USD200 billion worth of Chinese goods after negotiators made progress in talks that were extended into the weekend.
Both sides made progress in trade talks that extended into the weekend. President Donald Trump took to Twitter to announce the delay. A session between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping is also anticipated which, ideally, would be a format for the two premiers to finalise a deal between the countries.
