The Chinese government has planned to account for 63% of the global crop in 2025, up from an expected 8.4% in 2018, once its current nut trees have reached maturity, according to data provided at the international macadamia symposium, hold in Lincang (China) October 17-19, and players from all of the origins took part (China, South Africa, Australia, Kenya, Brazil and Malawi).
