Indian sugar output rises y-o-y

India's sugar mills produced 2.756 million tonnes of sugar, in the first half of March, practically unchanged from 2.736 mln in the previous fortnight but sharply above 1.305 mln in the same period last year, Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) data showed.
