Spanish salami processor to enter international markets

Last year, the Spanish pork meat processor Splendid Foods produced 2,400 tonnes of cured salchichon - a salami variety - with a turnover of EUR18.5 million (USD22.7 mln). In the last five years, the company has grown at a CAGR of 35% and this year is planning to double its presence in the international markets. IEG Vu met Splendid Foods director David Garcia-Gassull at the processing plant located in Barcelona.
