Sardine fishing suspended in Iberian waters

Sardine fishing activity in Portuguese and Spanish waters is forbidden at the moment, the two member states decided early this month. Both countries presented in Brussels last week a plan for the sardine fishery management in order to guarantee sustainable and permanent stocks for the industry.
