Brazilian fish exports temporarily prohibited in Europe

From today (January 3), all fish shipments from Brazil to Europe are temporarily suspended by the Brazilian government. An audit conducted in September by EU inspectors found that six of a total of 10 Brazilian export companies examined were not in compliance with EU food requirements, according to IEG Vu European Commission (EC) sources.
