Brazil’s orange research organisation Fundecitrus has detected a 52% spike in the number of captures of the Asian citrus psyllid (Diaphorina citri), a leading vector of HLB disease, in traps installed in the citrus belt of São Paulo and Minas Gerais in August compared with the previous month.
