North Italian tomato season passes its half-way mark

On August 20, about 1.3 million tonnes of tomatoes were processed, equal to 46.13% of the contracted quantity, according to a report of the professional organisation OI Pomodoro which pointed out that drought remains a reason of concern for the industry.
