European Union expands import quotas for sugar and chicken from Brazil

As of this Saturday, July 1, changes in the import rules for sugar and chicken from Brazil to the European Union (EU) will take effect. Under the agreement the EU has undertaken to add 78,000 tons to the country's 310,124 ton-quota for raw sugar. In the case of chicken, the increase is 4,766 tons to the Brazilian quota.
