Mexico reopens to Brazilian meat, says ABPA

Mexico has reopened to Brazilian meat after a temporary ban was imposed following Operation Weak Flesh, says the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). At an event held in São Paulo on Wednesday, the ABPA's vice president of markets, Ricardo Santin, confirmed the reopening, which has not yet been reported by the Ministry of Agriculture. Santin said that the crisis of confidence in Brazilian beef after Operation Weak Flesh is coming to an end and less than 2% of Brazilian poultry meat is still embargoed.
