Belgium to support Brazil in sanitary and trade negotiations with the European Union
Brazilian and Belgian government officials have met at the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA), in Brasilia, to strengthen relations and discuss issues such as the free trade agreement between Mercosur and the European Union. The Secretary of International Agribusiness Relations (SRI) at MAPA, Tatiana Palermo, stressed the importance of the agreement to Brazil. "It is a unique opportunity to expand Brazilian and European exports. It will involve very sector of the Brazilian economy and benefit to both sides," she said.
