Performance of meats in the second week of December
As it normally occurs, the exports of meats in the second week of the month suffered deterioration in relation to the previous week. This time, however, the reduction (measured by the daily foreign exchange revenue) was not very significant, reaching less than 3.5%.
With this result, the average daily revenue of the first ten business days of the month (from a total of 22 business days in current December) in the amount of US$67.524 records a reduction of 3.1% against the previous month, but remained 3.7% above that reached in November 2013.
In this context, the exports of chicken meat presented a slight improvement in relation to the first week of December and, as a result, it currently records average shipments higher than those of last November.
