Cattle, grains and ethanol attain highs on BM&FBovespa
The price of second position future contracts for live beef cattle delivery rose again on BM&FBovespa in November as it’s been happening since August, and reached a new monthly average record level.
According to calculations from Valor Data, the rise with respect to October was from 4.70% to R$144.58 per arroba price. Compared with the average from December, valuation reaches 29.2%. Quotations are still being kept by the increased meat demand on domestic and international markets, in times of restricted global supply. Beef prices remain steady, both in wholesale and retail markets.
For the agricultural commodities traded at the BM&F, the monthly averages on corn contracts also rose – 13.93% compared with October –, soybean (6.29%) and ethanol (7.62%).
