ABPA President meets with pork sector in Argentina
On Thursday, May 15, the chief executive of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), Francisco Turra, began a series of meetings with representatives of pork producers, importers and processors in Argentina.
Turra is negotiating to get Brazil's pork exports to Argentina back up.
He says results have already been achieved, with representatives showing an interest in importing breeding pigs from Santa Catarina.
"I have a letter with a request from local producers to implement a mission to import from this segment," he says.
