Brazil's pork exports down 1.1% in August
Brazil earned US$ 132.8 million in August from pork exports, down by 1.17% on the US$ 134.4 million earned in the same period last year, according to the Foreign Trade Office (Secex) compiled by the Brazilian Association of Pork Producers and Exporters (Abipecs).
Volume totaled 52,300 tons last month, down 4.34% compared with the 54,700 tons exported in August last year. The average price by 3.31% in the period, to US$ 2,538 per ton, according to Abipecs.
