Abilio Diniz, president of the board of directors of BRF, leaves Grupo Pão de Açúcar
One of Brazil's leading businesspeople, Abilio Diniz finished has left Pão de Açúcar, a company founded by his father in the 1940s. He did a deal with the French controller of the group, Casino, in which he has left the company, where he was chairman of the board of directors (an office he had held for life) and he has given up his legal rights in the company.
Casino required him to leave after he also became CEO if BRF - one of the largest suppliers to Pão de Açúcar.
