Casino tells Diniz it is against Galeazzi at BRF
Casino, which controls Pão de Açúcar (GPA) Group, took a stance against the Claudio Galeazzi at BRF as a consultant, during a meeting of GPA's human resources committee. Galeazzi is a member of the board of GPA, nominated by the shareholder Abilio Diniz, and is a founding partner of Galeazzi & Associados, which specializes in restructuring.
It is a resumption of the discussion about a conflict of interest: the French partner says an adviser to the group cannot be directly involved in the daily management of a supplier to the company. Galeazzi says his company is providing consulting services to BRF and he has done some work in the company, but does not have an office or desk at BRF.
