Adjustment by US cattle industry helps JBS

The production cut announced by Cargill's beef segment last week could benefit JBS in the United States and raise profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the Brazilian company by up to R$ 500 million, according to Morgan Stanley.

In a report, the bank says that the decision by the US multinational, one of the leading beef processors in the United States, along with Tyson Foods and JBS, could "re-balance supply and demand," making JBS' margins in the United States return to their normal level of 4.5%.
