JP Morgan downgrades Marfrig and BRF
JP Morgan has revised its assessment of Marfrig and BRF - Brasil Foods - downwards, according to Dow Jones Newswires. The institution has downgraded its recommendation for the two companies, from "neutral" to "poor performance." BRF and Marfrig, Brazil's two main poultry and pig processors, are suffering from the rising price of grains, used in animal feed. By 5.55 PM on September 28, Marfrig's stock price had fallen by 1.66% on the BMF&Bovespa market. BRF's stock prices fell by 1.65%.
