BNDES again denies government interference in the purchase of Delta
The president of Brazil’s state-owned development bank, BNDES, Luciano Coutinho, reiterated on Thursday (May 17) that the Brazilian government did not affect the purchase of Delta by the holding company J & F - which controls the slaughterhouse JBS.
"We have already shown that this is an issue that was handled by the holding company and there was no consultation or approval by the government," said Coutinho. BNDES has a stake in JBS.
