Feed to put pressure on corn prices

The demand for corn to be used in feed production in Brazil will push up the price of the commodity and of animal feed in the next few years, says the executive vice president of the National Animal Feed Industry Association (Sindirações), Ariovaldo Zani.

In 2020 Brazil will produce 85 million tons of feed, which will require 55 million tons of corn - the grain accounts for 65% of animal feed, says Zani.
