JBS leases four slaughterhouses from Guaporé
JBS has leased four slaughterhouses from the Guaporé group, in Mato Grosso state, with a total slaughter capacity of 3,050 head a day. The company has not made a comment.
The leased units are in the municipalities of Confresa, Juína, and Colíder, all in northern Mato Grosso, and São Miguel do Guaporé, in Rondônia. With the new units, JBS now has 39 slaughter units in Brazil. It is the largest meat processor in the world, with a global turnover of R$ 60 billion.
