Slaughterhouse brings back meat trucks from border with Argentina
Riosulense, based in Rio do Sul, Santa Catarina, has confirmed that it has brought back its meat trucks that were on the border with Argentina awaiting authorization by that country's government to unload pork.
The commercial manager at Riosulense, Cleiton Pamplona, in an interview with Agência Estado, declined to give any details on the volume of pork that the company has missed out on shipping to Argentina since the beginning of this month, when restrictions imposed by Argentina on Brazilian exports entered force. However, he acknowledges there will be losses suffered in trade with Argentina.
