Europe’s fifth-largest canned tuna supplier, the Republic of Ghana, has announced its commitment to develop a Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean with the Republic of Ivory Coast, the World Wildlife Fund, Thai Union Europe and other processing companies and purse seine fleets. The entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) this week.
