Farm Council: Hogan says no to export refunds for pigmeat

Hogan confirmed that private storage aid (PSA) for pigmeat would reopen in early January. With fresh lard included and aid levels higher than last time, he said the measure should be more effective than the PSA scheme launched in March of this year. At the same time, he pointed out that the new scheme will include the possibility for the early removal of product for export.
