EU meat production to make gains across the board, says Commission

In its latest Short Term Outlook report, the Commiission says pigmeat production gained almost 4% in the first half of this year because of a lag in the adjustment to low prices. Almost all member states increased production, although Spain stood out with a 9.1% increase in the January-June period.
