Family-run yoghurt producer Llaeth y Llan (Village Dairy) of Llanefydd, near Denbigh, has won a contract to supply Tesco stores in North Wales with its natural yoghurt sourced from local herds. Co-founder Famlai Roberts said the firm, founded in 1980, was delighted with the news. Mark Grant, Tesco's senior buyer for Wales, said: "We are keen to source as many local products as we can and are therefore very pleased to be able to offer our customers yet another great product made in Wales." Six of the company's yoghurts will be listed in Tesco stores: Toffee, Black Cherry, Fruits of the Forest, Raspberry, Strawberry and Rhubarb.
