NEW Zealand fruit juice manufacturer Charlie’s is entering the children’s drinks market. Its drinks are made of 50% fruit juice and 50% water and the company says they are the first of their kind in the New Zealand children’s drinks market. Charlie’s chief executive, Stefan Lepionka, told local media that the new initiative was driven from a genuine desire to provide parents with a convenient, healthy juice product. The drinks contain no juice concentrates, sugar, colours or preservatives. They are packed in pouches and can also be served frozen.
