A NEW zero calorie version of the carbonated soda drink (CSD) Guaraná Jesus has been launched in Brazil. The Guaraná Jesus Zero Caloria version of the guaraná CSD was launched by Renosa, a Coca-Cola franchise in the Brazilian north-eastern state of Maranhão. The new product has the same taste as the original Guaraná Jesus, which contains traces of clove and cinnamon, and it will be marketed in 350ml cans and 2-litre PET bottles. Guaraná Jesus, which was created back in 1920, developed into an iconic drink in Maranhão largely due to the unique pink colour of the beverage.
