This article was originally published in Foodnews

AS PART of Nestlé Spain's pledge to communicate nutritional information to consumers in a transparent manner, the company has decided to incorporate more than 250 products in its gluten-free product list which it will advertise on its website. Products labelled as gluten-free will include those treated to remove gluten or reduce gluten, or those which contain less than 20mg per kilogram of gluten following EU guidelines. In response to consumer demands, Nestlé has also decided to include labels on some products, such as condensed milk, stating 'Suitable for a gluten-free diet'.
