Coca-Cola revamps its Oasis portfolio

COCA-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has repackaged its Oasis range of juice drinks and re-introduced a Blackcurrant Apple flavour. Rob Selby writes: The brand's packaging has been updated to improve shelf standout, and there will be a 99p promotion. CCE said Oasis 500ml is the biggest immediate consumption PET juice drink in the UK, worth GBP57 million (USD93 million). Some 60% of the brand's sales are consumed at lunchtime: "Oasis is the number one indexing soft drink with sandwiches, and with a total of 10 billion sandwich occasions [in the UK] annually, there is a huge opportunity for further growth." The full range consists of Blackcurrant Apple, Summer Fruits, Citrus Punch, Peach & Passion Fruit Light and Summer Fruits Extra Light.
