YOKI Alimentos, one of Brazil's largest food manufacturers, has launched a new line of powdered juices named Zero Açúcar. Vladimir Pekic writes: the sugar-free juice line is aimed at health-conscious consumers who are intent on limiting calorie intake. The company, which also produces soybean-based juices Mais Vita and tea products Lin Tea, launched eight flavours of the new juice product, including orange, tangerine, passion fruit, pineapple, grape, lime/lemon, pear and wild strawberry. The new powdered juice product is manufactured in eight-gram packages that suffice to make one litre of juice. Zero Açúcar is already available in shops across Brazil and the juice is sold with a recommended retail price ranging between BRL0.55-0.65 (USD0.33-0.36).
