Capturing light is critical to prunes production

The efficiency of a prune orchard is mainly related to the light interception (70%) (measured as PARi) per unit area (m2 or ha). This light interception increases the efficiency, and productivity of the orchard increases, Cristian Valdes, prune advisor at Agro Al Cubo, explained at the 16th IPA (International Prune Association) Congress in Santiago, Chile.
