As part of French dairy and food group Danone's reshaping of its management structure, from January 1, 2008 the company will appoint both Bernard Hours and Emmanuel Faber as co-chief operating officers. Hours is currently executive vice president, fresh dairy products, while Faber is currently executive vice president, Asia Pacific. Jacques Vincent, currently vice chairman and chief operating officer of the group, will become advisor to the chairman and will chair the strategic committee. Dirk Van de Put will be appointed executive vice president, fresh dairy produce, though will continue to manage water and beverages in Latin America, reporting to Thomas Kunz, executive vice president, water and beverages.
