Milk sent to trapped miners in China

Chinese rescuers siphoned 400kg of milk to 69 coal miners trapped underground for more than two days this week, hoping it will keep them alive while they pump out flood waters. The milk, not a common staple for most Chinese, was sent down a ventilation pipe to the men trapped in a mine in Henan province in Central China. Floods this summer have killed about 700 people.
