INDIA'S Bhoruka Group will invest A$63m (US$53.6m) in a 170,000-tonne oilseed crushing facility that should open in New South Wales, Australia by October next year. It will require about 125,000 additional acres in Australia to be sown with oilseeds, or 5% more than currently planted. The project - Riverina Oils & Bio Energy - expects to export 65,000 tonnes a year of refined vegetable oil to markets such as India and Japan once operating. It will also produce 75m litres of biodiesel from the oil or imported palm oil.
