Bigger Finnish crops

FINLAND'S 2009 grain harvest is set to rise by 160,000 tonnes to 4.4m tonnes from a year ago if favourable weather continues, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said. Finland should have a record crop of spring wheat and a larger barley harvest, but its rye harvest will fall by around a quarter due to a drop in the amount of sown land, while oats will fall slightly.
