PER-hectare production costs for Brazil's main soya states in 2009/10 are expected to fall by 9% to 10% from a year ago, due largely to lower fertiliser costs, analysts at Celeres said. The price of a tonne of typical fertiliser blend in Rondonopolis, an important grain staging centre in Brazil's main soyabean producing state of Mato Grosso, fell on average to reais850 ($458.78) in July from reais1,250 a year ago, Celeres estimated.
