Delay in wheat arrival

SHIPMENTS of Black Sea wheat are not expected to land in Spain until mid-May. The EU last week granted import licences for the entire tariff-rate quota of 595,000 tonnes of wheat on offer for the second quarter. A source at the port of Tarragona said that just three cargoes of 25,000 tonnes of wheat were due to dock at the northeastern port by mid-May.
