MALAYSIA'S palm oil output will grow marginally next year to 17.6m tonnes, from 17.56m tonnes in 2008 and 15.82m tonnes in 2007, following years of rapid growth, according to Oil World. The analyst added that palm oil fundamentals in the short-term are bearish but medium-term prospects going into 2009 point to a tightening of supply and a decline in stocks.
