McDONALD's is changing its beverage strategy to focus more on bottled water and sports drinks, rather than carbonated soft drinks (CSDs) and energy drinks.The strategy, discussed at the company's annual general meeting, is part of its goal to be a destination for thirsty customers. Executives also said they expect next year to roll out smoothies and frappés, which are already being tested in some markets.
