FRUIT juice consumption is growing in France, according to the fruit juice association, Unijus. Volume sales rose by 4.51% in 2008 compared with 2007. Orange juice registered the highest sales (47.3% of total), followed by juice blends (18.2%) and added-vitamin juices (10.6%). Apple juice also performed well and with 8.1% of total juice sales, it represents the second-favourite single flavour juice. Pure juices have been performing better than last year, as sales went up by 9.3%, while nectars saw a 2% reduction in sales. Packagingwise, French consumers seem to prefer the one-litre box.
