CASHEW prices have remained steady this week with the W320 grade seeing the most significant price increase. This week's prices for W240s stayed firm at around US$2.70/lb, W320s moved to US$2.25-2.30/lb (up from US$2.102.20/lb last week), both W450s and SW320s were at US$2.00-2.05/lb, and SW360s were at US$1.901.95/lb, all fob India. Most of the business was for April-June shipment but there were also a few trades for forwards, according to trading house, Samsons of Mumbai. RCN prices also moved up in the last two weeks and are now steady. Benin is being offered around US$800/tonne and Ivory Coast between US$675700/tonne c&f. Indian prices are steady and Vietnamese prices have moved up by about US$50/tonne.
